Romantic Outdoor Wedding at Parker Barn

We are so glad that we were able to help Jessica + Neil bring their wedding vision to life. This fun couple met at a Washington Nationals game bonding over their love for Ballpark hotdogs. Their wedding was just as special and fun as they are! Jessica + Neil aimed to have a ceremony and reception that was timeless but fun for everyone in attendance. Their reception welcomed guests to dance to a jazz band or enjoy the outdoors with a photobooth and bonfire. Jessica shared that one of their favorite memories was when she and her groom were introduced at the reception. Jessica shared, “ We were on cloud 9 and ready to celebrate with a room full of friends and family that we loved. I will never forget how I felt at that moment; pure joy.” Congratulations again to this wonderful couple! May you have many years of love and happiness.

The proposal story in Jessica’s words:

In May 2018, Neil and I vacationed in Iceland; our first international trip together. On the last day of our trip, after spending a week soaking in the Blue Lagoon, snorkeling between tectonic plates, exploring Reykjavik, and riding Icelandic horses through the countryside, we stopped at the scenic Gullfoss Waterfall where Neil proposed, complete with a rainbow over the falls! (To think he carried that engagement ring in his jacket halfway around the world!)

Jessica + Neil’s Tip for Couples:

Include a first look! I was skeptical of doing a first look with Neil as we planned out our timeline, but it was one of my favorite moments during the day and provided such a sweet time for us to be alone together before the ceremony and reception. The day goes by so fast, cherish moments like the first look when it can be just the two of you.
