Last week Maddy and Chris's wedding was featured on Artfully Wed! We were thrilled to pack our bags and head off to Northport, Michigan for Maddy and Chris' wedding at Cherry Basket Farm! Cherry Basket Farm is a restored 120-year-old farm located just north of the historic village of Omena in Leelanau County, Michigan. This rustic venue is surrounded by hardwoods, cherry orchards, and farmland.
Maddy and Chris' wedding ceremony, which was designed and coordinated by Oak & Honey Events, took place on the upper level of the venue's two-story, timber-framed barn, while cocktail hour took place downstairs, and dinner under the tent. Their guests then headed up upstairs to join the couple for dancing and desserts!
The venue's rustic vibe paired well with the couple's bohemian style. Elbowgrease Design provided gorgeous macrame chandeliers for the event, in addition to an ombre macrame escort sign by Baci Designer. The color palette consisted of blush, marsala, sand, and espresso, in addition to the greenery that was incorporated throughout the design.
