Jessica + Sid met while floormates at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. The two bonded over their shared love of “Dawson’s Creek,” and the rest is history! Sid proposed late one night at Cherry Springs State Park in Pennsylvania. After a stargazing tour, the couple lingered until they were the final members of their group left in the park. Beneath a sky filled with more stars than they had ever seen in their lives, Jessica + Sid went from “dating” to “engaged.”
From the beginning of the planning process, the couple knew two things for certain. First, as Jessica is a native Ohioan–not to mention the fact that the couple met in Ohio–the wedding needed to be held there! And second, they wanted their special day to have an easygoing, relaxed feel. Jessica + Sid envisioned a fusion wedding with Indian traditions that would combine vibrant, colorful elements with natural greenery. Gervasi Vineyard fit the bill perfectly. “Walking around Gervasi almost reminded us of being in Italy and we instantly loved the ambiance there.” After the ceremony Jessica + Sid made time to walk the grounds of Gervasi and reflect on becoming husband and wife. These peaceful moments, enjoying the venue they had chosen together, stand out to the couple as something they’ll always remember.
Jessica + Sid hold special memories of their wedding day, and their guests agree. “Our guests were impressed by the flow of each element of the wedding, the floral arrangements, as well as the ambiance that we were able to create with Melanie’s help.”
