At Oak + Honey Event Planning Co., our Ohio wedding planners love to cultivate designs that speak to you and your love story, that will support the vision and bring it to life. Our collaborative design process begins with creating a budget for the big day. From there, we recommended wedding professionals you’ll love and draft a vision for your wedding. Together, we’ll present design boards to help illustrate the creative direction of the event itself. We wrap up the wedding design process by relaying your designs to the team so that every detail is executed flawlessly. Every wedding is different, and we offer various options of support along the way.

We are based in Cleveland, Ohio, and plan weddings and events in Akron, Canton, Sandusky, Youngstown, throughout Northeast Ohio, or wherever your event takes us.

Our full customized planning and design option provides support and expertise from the very beginning of your planning process. Over the course of in-person or virtual meetings, we’ll work closely with you to develop an event budget and wedding design, and provide you with customized referrals for the very best wedding professionals for your budget, style, and personality. Oak + Honey works in a phased planning process to make the planning process laid back and easy for you.

Phase I: The VIP Phase

In this phase, the planner and client work together to secure the venue and the most in-demand vendors. An in-demand vendor is one that has to physically be present on the wedding day for an extended period of time. Once they are booked, they are no longer available to other clients.

Phase II: The Design Phase

Time for all things, glitter, and gold. Or not. But all things pretty! In this phase, we will focus on the aesthetics of the event.

Phase III: The Wrap-Up Phase

In Phase III, our focus is to tie it all in a bow and make sure we are reconciling all of our planning details with each vendor.
