Elegant National Park Wedding at Hines Hill Campus

Meet Erin + Chris. This beautiful couple met while Erin was on vacation in Florida. This instant connection was the beginning of a love story that would eventually lead to Chris popping the big question in a special way on the beach of Captiva Island in Florida.

The proposal story in Erin’s words:

For years, I have always vacationed with my family to the west coast of Florida. Chris knew how much it meant to me since I have many fond memories with my family, especially with those who have now passed. January 2018, Chris and I and a very close friend of ours were vacationing in Captiva Island. On Sunday they had family photos scheduled on the beach. Chris HATES taking pictures but agreed to possibly take a few photos after they finished their family photos. Little did I know he would propose to me. I remember walking down the beach and taking photos when I felt Chris stop walking and tug on my arm. I turned around and saw him down on one knee. I didn't notice the seashells that spelled out "Will you marry me" in the sand. It feels like a blur since I was in complete shock! I did not expect it whatsoever, but I feel so truly blessed.

Erin + Chris’ Tip for Couples:

I highly recommend hiring a wedding planner that you trust! It can be stressful planning a wedding, especially when trying to balance your everyday life.
