Clare + Stephen met and bonded during study breaks in medical school. Their close friendship eventually turned into love. Stephen proposed to Clare during a backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon at the top of a remote waterfall without a person for miles. This magical proposal was kept under wraps for several days until they arrived back to civilization.
The bride and groom wanted their ceremony and reception to be warm and familial. The peacefulness of the lush greenery and gardens of The Club at Hillbrook gave them a beautiful romantic garden vibe. This venue captured their hearts from the first drive as they saw the beauty of Ohio from every angle. The stately entrance, the wonderful staff, the breathtaking patio and terraces gave a warm and peaceful feel to their wedding celebration.
A favorite moment of Clare + Stephen’s was being able to have a grand entrance to their reception as they were able to perform a fast paced, toe-tapping Irish dance. Friends and family experienced a fairytale ceremony followed by a magnificent party.
