Rustic Outdoor Wedding at The Club at Hillbrook

Sam + Jim met years ago at a 2006 high school graduation party. Although it was far from “love at first sight” for Sam, Jim felt a spark from the moment he saw her and knew he wanted to get to know Sam more. The two quickly became close friends and stayed that way through their college years and so on. In 2015 the two officially started dating. They quickly fell in love and started imagining the life they would build with one another. The two dreamt of living in the country on a big plot of land where they could explore, hike, and make lasting memories. They brought that dream to life when they purchased 14 acres of land. James proposed to Samantha in the middle of a beautiful creek on their property. What better place to propose than the place they had dreamt of for so long?!

The bride and groom wanted their special day to be remembered as a rustic, whimsical end-of summer celebration. They wanted their ceremony and reception to have a magical warmth with a timeless feel. The expansive woods and the elegant gardens at The Club at Hillbrook provided the couple with a stunning ceremony location that evoked an ageless, whimsical atmosphere. On the other hand, the beautiful rustic architecture of Sapphire Creek Winery and Gardens provided them with a warm, luxuriously rustic atmosphere for their reception. These venues complimented one another beautifully and provided the couple with a truly magical experience.

A favorite moment of Samantha + James’ special day was being able to see how Oak + Honey had brought their vision to life with breathtaking floral arrangements and beautifully inspired decorations. It was everything they dreamed it would be and more.  Friends and family were able to truly encounter a magical evening full of celebration.
