Lauren and Hunter’s wedding at the Cleveland Arcade was filled with love, intention, and a whole lot of fun!
Lauren and Hunter's love story stands as a testament to the serendipity that technology can bring into our lives. Their journey from swiping right to saying "I do" unfolded in a way that could only be described as modern-day magic.
Despite being staunch Ohio State fans, it was more than just collegiate pride that brought them together—it was an inexplicable connection that not even a dating app's most sophisticated algorithm could have predicted. As the drinks and laughter poured out on their first date, it became evident that this was the start of something extraordinary.
Being engaged for over 2 years, Lauren and Hunter were able to draw their inspiration from various avenues. Social media of course played a part, but also their experiences attending over 15 weddings as a couple during their time together gave them a chance to truly envision the wedding day they wanted.
Wanting a venue with history and character, The Cleveland Arcade, with its ornate grandeur, became the centerpiece of their classic and romantic vision. The location allowed them to choose design elements that were complementary, but not overpowering- perfect the classic yet modern wedding design they wanted. A color palette of white, black, gold and green provided a bit of elegance, while Lauren’s must-haves of disco balls added in a bit of fun to the mix!
The personal touches didn't stop there—as an ode to the way they met, personalized matchbooks doubled as escort cards- an idea courtesy of our very own Melanie and Rose Gold Studio's collaborative genius.
The wedding day itself was filled with moments that will forever live in their memories. From the heartfelt privilege of being married by a dear friend, to the intimate pause right after the ceremony where the gravity of their union sunk in- these are the cherished moments that stand out from Lauren and Hunter’s day.

“It’s easy to become overwhelmed with all the wedding-related content on social media. While it can be a great resource for inspiration, it can lead to envy and the feeling that you're not doing or spending enough on your wedding day. Don't be pressured into spending more than your budget and seek advice of a planner or married friends who will be able to tell you what's worth or not worth the time and money.”
